COVID- 19, “The Rona Era”

Friday we all got the bomb dropped on us. Roe v. Wade was overturned. When the leak came out months ago, we knew what the Justices were going to do. I had hopped with societal pressure and the cat being let out of the bag, they would change. Clearly they were not going to take away a women’s constitutional right to health care and abortion. I was so wrong. I think we are all recovering from the shock wave of it.

Friday night, I was meeting my crew for cocktails and catching up. It was more like a support group as we eat, shared stories, and maybe over cock-tailed.

All that to say, I knew I had to run this morning. I was planning a 10k or a longer run but I didn’t have it in me. I got up later than I wanted and I just wasn’t in the mood. I forced myself to move, to run a 5k.
