Last Friday of June 2022

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

I can’t believe this is the last Friday in June?! Where did the month go? My plan for getting up early and running 6 miles did not happen. But my plan for running a 5k in the Boston Seaport area did happen. By 6 a.m. the seaport area was busy. All the construction workers were out, tourist here for a conference were strolling around with their coffee and morning breakfast, and the runners and dog walkers were everywhere. This area was poppin. I forgot how busy this place can be.

I ran along the harborwalk. If I had gotten up earlier, I would have ran to Castle Island and then to the seaport area. I’ll make a note on that for my next run.

It was very urban, very concrete, and less green. but the waterviews and city views are always good.
