Monday Movement
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
It is 48 degrees out and dark. Yup, it feels like Fall. I’m tired and need more sleep. I should put in a couple of miles to keep my body moving. I put in new batteries in my headlight but I forgot to bring my alarm birdie key.
Oh Well. Today I ran along the Mystic River at Assembly Row. This time I ran towards Charlestown. Going back to the scene of the crime were I lost my keys.
I’m so glad I put in new batteries because my light was bright. I didn’t realize how dull my light was before. Side note- Always keep the batteries up.
I ran along the river, past the casino and headed toward Bunker Hill Monument. Instead of going up the hill, I keep running straight. I wanted to see where I would go. I ran under the Zakim bridge and ended up at the Charlestown Navy Yard. It wasn’t that far to run. The colors were so lovely.
I love the transition from night into day. To my surprise I ran 5 miles on a Monday.
Good start to the week
