Fall Summer Monday
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
OMG! It’s an amazing fall morning in summer. This morning it’s 61 degrees which is so exciting. The last several days in the heat wave, the mornings were in the late 70s and 80s temperature. No rain, no humidity, no clouds in the sky. After resting on Sunday, I had to run it out for “ Never miss a Monday.” I ran around the Mystic River by Assembly Row this morning. Totally feels like fall. I stretched along the river bank with the stalkers close by in the river. I didn’t see anyone else round but me. After the stretch, I started running the pavement.
I was feeling good and strong this morning. I wasn’t tired and I didn’t feel any pain. My pace and stride were on point this morning. I saw a couple of people running and some walkers but it was quiet on the running trail.
Today felt like a nature run with the ducks, swans, spiders, and the morning turkey( It’s not Thanksgiving yet). I didn’t mind( expect for the turkey) running in nature this morning. Perhaps the fall like weather, resting, and slowly healing from radiation is all coming together to get my running strength and stride back. This morning was a good 4 miler. That is all. :)
