Last Friday a.m. of June

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

I realized this morning as it’s raining that today is the last Friday of June. I can’t believe this month is almost over. Yet I can. June is recovery month post surgery. This week is week four out of a six week recovery of no running. Ironically, July will be radiation month and hopefully a running month as well.

I don’t run in the rain but I can walk in the rain. I put on my BGR run out and started my walk. At least I had lovely views of the foggy city skyline against the backdrop of the water.

A did see the water taxi come up to the dock to get passengers, that was neat. As I walked the “ groin” issue wasn’t there. There was something in my lower abdomen, which may be related. I know all of those things are connected. I kept on.

Today’s goal was four miles. My pace range, ranged from 18,17, 15, and 16 min/ml. Looking, moving, stopping is usually my running pattern.

Near the end of my walk the rain started to come down harder and people started to come out…walking dogs and running.

Ending Friday on a good wet note
