Foggy and T-Rex 5 mile Sunday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Saturday was in the high 60s , low 70s. So many people were out and about wearing shorts. Of course this was the day that I had to write. I was productive but I was on lockdown. A rest day is always good. I wish I made today a rest day instead of a run day. Today, it’s foggy, cold, and there is no blue sky and sun. To my joy, there were not many people running or walking on the Charles Esplanade. Normally the Esplanade is packed with runners but not today.
My “ Map my run” app was not working. It kept pausing on it’s own while I was running. I had to stop it at every mile. Clear it and start over again. I did this five times for five miles. So annoying and frustrating. I don’t have a clue about my pace or time. At one of my mile points, it was a 9:50mil/min. I think I’m getting better. I’m going to have to download a new running app.
I ran past my 4 mile goal which seeing flowers, geese, T-Rex, and a reminder that white silence is violence. Overall a good run. Still working on those birthday miles. :)
