Muggy, foggy, muggy, foggy
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
I was up and ready to go this morning. I can’t remember when I was “ this” ready to go. I was ready for my 4 or 5 mile run. When I woke up I still hadn’t decided what I would do. It’s fall and it’s dark. Low and behold, I could not find any of my reflective lights. Seriously, where are they? Either my house is that messy or I am absent minded or both. Luckily I have reflective vest and I knew where that was.
Dark, foggy, and muggy was the theme for this morning run. Of course I wore running leggings and I was hot. It was a creepy, weird, October halloween vibe happening when I was running. At first there was no one around, just fog. I ran along the water. I could barely see the lights of the ships and city. As I was running through my neighborhood and crossed over one of the bridges, I couldn’t see a damn thing. No car lights, bridge lights, or city lights. Shitz was foggy.
It is a good thing the street lights were lit as I ran, otherwise it would have been a problem. Slowly, darkness turned to light but the fog and muggy did not leave. As the light slowly showed, so did more of the commuters going to work and or school.
5 miles for the morning and I was feeling good. Saturday will be the Boston 10k for women. It’s going torain but it’s going to be an all out running party. I’m ready. :)
