Hello Spring 2021

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

It officially is here… SPRING! In New England, Spring and Winter play this crazy “ knock knock” game. Sometimes in early spring, winter will come knocking and spring open’s the door to let winter in. He stays for a while, then spring kicks him out and then she let’s him back in. It’s a back and forth of crazy. Today, it’s Saturday and it’s officially spring.

I thought I would put on my big girl panties and walk through the woods, in nature by myself. I walked through an extension of Horn Pond which overlaps a golf course. I walked on part of the golf course and through the woods. While on the golf course I saw all the stalkers. At first it was just me and them. I wasn’t going to let them stop me from walking through the pathway.

Part of this section of the woods also runs into a row of power lines. So there are power lines, golf course, stalkers, woods, and trails.

I was walking and found a wider path. There I saw a couple of runners and people walking on the path. I was curious to follow them to see where the path in the woods would go but I needed to get home and start my Saturday chores and writing.

Despite it still being chilling, hence gloves were needed. It was a good way to bring in spring
