5k Monday sunshine vibe
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
The last full week of March has started. This month just happened. At now it’s spring. For my a.m. walk, it was 38 degrees out. No gloves needed for the morning. I feel healthy and strong and I want to run. I have to wait until Thursday when I see my doctor. It’s been five weeks since my lumpectomy, I feel that I’ve healed. I still have to be patient. At least there is warmth today.
I drove to Assembly Row to walk on part of the Mystic River Reservations. I’ve never walked it. I’m always running on it. Even though it’s spring, for now, it’s still dark at 6:00 a.m. As I was walking I could see all my stalkers, sleeping or eating( butts are in the air when they eat).
There were a couple of older people walking and I saw one person running this morning. The surprise of the morning were the rowers. I had never seen people row on the mystic river, always on the Charles River. All in all it was a good 5k a.m. walk. Hopefully tomorrow, I can make it a 4 mile walk.
