COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

10k a.m. humpday! The first Wednesday of fall, feels like a spring morning. I can’t explain it. Well, global warming can explain it. I’m still feeling the weight of RBG passing and knowing she will lie in Repose at the Supreme Court today. ( Fuel for thought: I found out later today that Breonna Taylor, murders got a Class D Felony).

This morning, feeling the spring like weather I ran 4.05 miles through the city. I was in awe of the new things that I found along my route. From a $20 bill with Harriet Tubman , Be the Change sign, statues with mask, urban wildflowers, and taking over the streets in the twilight hours of the city.

Running through the city so early( 5:45 a.m.), I saw all the construction workers, all men expect for the one woman, people walking to get their over priced coffee in the seaport area to homeless men along the Rose Kennedy green way.

I would have kept on running because I was excited about the views I saw while running but I had to get home and get ready for my morning class.

Not the miles I wanted but I got some in.
