Bring the wall down!

Bring the wall down!

This morning was going to be a short 5k run. Since it is hot, I wanted to try to run near some water. I decided to run along the Charles not only to be by water but our friend Suzanne with the B.A.A is having a Thursday run from 6:30-7:30 once a week. I wanted to say hi and support here.

To mix things up I started on the Charles River Reservation which is across from the Museum of Science on the Cambridge side. When I started I ran into a piece of the Berlin Wall. That’s right. A piece of the Berlin Wall is here. It is in front of the EF travel building. I’m not sure if they own it.

Fuel for Thought: Since that man in office recently told a group of women of color to “ go back where they came from” and he wants to build this wall, I thought it was just fitting that I happened to see a piece of the Berlin Wall today. It seems that lesson from the past are going on deaf hears of today

…..So I started to run. I ran from Cambridge to Boston, 1.5 miles of the Esplanade. On my turn around back I saw Suzanne which was great. We both comment on the aggressive and rude bikers that are on the path.

Then I headed back. It was a nice brisk and thoughtful 3 mile a.m. run
