Sunny Monday

First full week of summer and the last week of June, how did all of that happen? When you get up for a 5:15a.m. run and it’s already 68 degrees out, yes summer is here. Today I wanted to run 4 miles along the Mystic Reservation. It’s beautiful along the mystic river, I-93, Assembly row shopping complex, and the new 2.6 Billion dollar casino. I have many thoughts on this as I greeted the sun this morning. It’s peaceful and quiet now. The casino just opened up on Sunday, it’s just a matter of time before we see the impact it will have along the Mystic.

As I ran I saw a couple of runners and the rowers, rowed on the river.

All in all, the Monday started off well
