Last Tuesday's Trackworkout

After Strong 30, which kicked my butt, ate and passed out. I didn’t even take a shower with my stinky ass. I had to get up this morning and go to the last track workout of the month. Today there was not as many people on the track. One woman, Kathy, who I saw on Saturday, I asked her how she did. She too ran 20 miles on Saturday and she’s pretty fast. The other woman( I need to get here name- black woman), saw me and hugged me when she came in. I asked her how she did on Saturday. She ran 20 miles in under 3 hours. Hot damn. We had a conversation about that. She told me that she will run to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

After all of that, we ran around the track. I was with my team blue again. This a good group. We ran two laps around the track, then got off, light jogged around once then got back on the track and repeat. We did this 12 times for a total of 3 miles.

Intense.

Track/ hardcore running people

  • Before we started, coach Dan talked about the Tokyo Marathon and having a watch party.. Me…not interested

  • Then they talked about a track race at BU and how some pretty fast people will be there—-Me..not interested

  • People talked about the New York Marathon and they will know tomorrow who will be admitted to the race…Me it’s interesting…not interested.

  • I am a runner who might do a marathon but I am not a marathoner. This shitz is exhausting.

Period.

  • To add, I broke through my birthcontrol pills and I feel a little heavy. Not sure if this is normal or if something else is going on. I’ll have to monitor this. I just hope I’m not on my period during Paris, but if I am……..
