Last Deerfoot Treadmill workout of Fall 2019
This is still the first week of getting ready for the Last Four. I wanted to see how I would do with a Deerfoot treadmill workout. This was a great workout to help with hills and speed work. The last time I did a treadmill workout was before I left for Paris. It has been 8 months since I was last here. At 5:45a.m. this place was packed. All women, mostly young folks packed into the running studio.
I was still feeling good with my pre- walking on the treadmill. I’m not sure what happened because as we got started I felt pain in the left knee. It was throbbing. It went from the right side of my knee to the left and worked it’s way down my leg. I put my speed on the lowest speed for level 1 and I had a hard time bending my knee. I finished the 35 minute workout. When I stopped, so did the pain. Really? I went home and took an aleve and tylenol(AT) and I felt better.
This was a good baseline. I’m going to take (AT) before going back on Tuesday and we’ll see what happens. I ran/walked a good 3.45 miles. Still moving and grooving…with caution.
