Nippy 28 degree 10k
Brrrr, Brrrr, It’s so cold out. 28 degrees and my fingers are numb. I layered up before I left…hat, gloves, sunglasses, coldwear running tights, and two compression shirt layers. That still wasn’t enough. After a mile of running the numbness in my fingers went away.
My long was a long run Saturday around the Charles but it turned out to be a 6.23 mile run through Cambridge. My goal for the next 8 weeks is rest and low miles to keep moving and healthy until I see the doctor.
Even in the nippy chill the runners were out running at 7 a.m. I love that I saw all kinds of runners running at different pacers this morning. Everyone was layered. I saw solo runners and folks running in groups. Despite the chill it was a sunny good artsy boston-cambridge day
