10k a.m. humpday run post state #37

10k a.m. humpday run post state #37

First run back after State #37 and I went hard with a humpday 10k a.m. run. After running this morning, I realized that my legs and body are still tired. I took the red eye on Monday night and was  in Boston by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. A combination of running hard on the rollin hills of Napa and Sonoma on Sunday, then walking  across the Golden Gate Bridge, then being on a plane for 4 hours, having less than 24 hours of leg recovery was  not enough for me.

That aside, I ran the 10k this morning and it was muggy and warm out before 6 a.m, which is a body shock to the 66 cool degrees of the a.m. in Napa and Sonoma. It was good to see the city skyline  and boats  on the water while running. Very different from the " grapes of wrath" running and being surrounded by vineyards.

I jogged my way back home on the Boston pavement to finish the 10k a.m. humpday run. Welcome back. :)
