Back to the Mississippi #NOLA

I'm back in NOLA! Last time I was here was for State #12 in 2016. What a difference 2 years makes on this journey. I loved running down familiar streets and along the mighty Mississippi. I missed her( The Mississippi). I have seen different parts of her in different states from Minnesota to Tennessee to Arkansas. She looks so different in width, geographical make up, and vegetation . Last time I saw her, I ran over her for state #30. Crossing the DeSoto Bridge that connects Memphis, TN to Arkansas. I ran the 1.5 miles each way above her and looked down on her instead of running next to her. 

Today I ran 5 miles to get myself reacquainted with the river and the city. Nothing has changed and there is a comfort in that. Let the good times roll and run :)
