10k a.m. Humpday
The first Humpday a.m. 10k run of December kicks off with 24 degree weather. I think the shift has started to the season of layering and reflective gear. Last night I went to be early, 10pm. Getting a good nights rest, I was up around 4:45am. By the time I got my things and life together , I was hitting the pavement at 5:08a.m. If Iām going to start marathon training, this is going to be the norm for a good three months.
Today it was a mild and doable 24 degrees out. I saw one woman running( without reflective gear) and another woman perform and illegal rolling stop. Otherwise it was still dark and quiet on the run. The closer I was to 6 miles the more activity I started to see and less of the moon in the sky. :).
