Sunday's back on track
After three days of rest and recovery, I was ready to hit the pavement today. Rest, not because of injury but four days of 14hours a day work week has kicked my ass. It’s more of mental exhaustion than anything else. It’s time to push through because I have a marathon to get ready for.
This morning, my long run was 8 miles not 10. I got 8 in. The 23 degree weather was steady because there wasn’t wind blowing in my face. I did extra layer up because I had a hard time moving. I might need to invest in better or more effective winter running gear.
Today I found some holiday gems while running, which I can’t wait to explore more of them this week
