52 Degrees + Dec. 15 = a.m. 5k Beach Run
This is still fall and winter is right around the corner and yet it’s 52 degrees out. No wonder why people are sick and global warming is a real. This morning, Saturday morning I was feeling lazy and tired. I started my run at 8am. To my surprise, I had a flat tire. Stop. Rewind.
I called AAA, they put air in the tire and I was off. I drove to the beach and I was going to run 6 or 7 miles. As I was running I ran into some people I use to run with a long time ago. I was with a running group in my neighborhood. It was great to reconnect with two of them. We friended each other on facebook and we’re going to make plans to run together.
Daniel, one of the former running mates got into Chicago, so he has to train for the marathon. I told them about my Paris. This will be a good motivator and it’s an extra sign.
After our re-connection and I realized the time, I decided to run back to my car and just do a long run on Sunday.
It was a great morning to be out and take advantage of the day
