5k 18 degree humpday

What does it mean when your excited that it's 18 degrees out for a.m.? Since the last couple of days have been in the single digits we are almost at 20 degrees. LOL.

I knew I had to run today because we are suppose to get hit with a really bad snow storm tomorrow. I thought a beach day run was in order.  What was I thinking?  Surprisingly, I saw on person running along the beach. That person was covered from head to toe. Otherwise, it was just the two of us crazy kids running.

What I notice on  a.m. run that people aren't expecting to see someone run in this weather at this hour.  With the snow, ice, early morning cold, perhaps I  see odd. Yet, I made sure there was plenty of  room on the streets but cars and trucks still want to come close up on me. At least 3 cars/trucks came so close to me while running that I could touch them.
