1st Run 2018

New Year and its already evil! 3 degrees out to run the first race of the new year. The good thing was that the sun was out, the sky was blue and it wasn't windy, otherwise that would be super painful. This year 3 of my other Black Girls Run Boston crew ran with me.  Sure enough, a lot of other crazy people still ran the race too.

This twist and for safety reasons, they gave us our medals when we picked up our bib numbers. It was way too cold for anyone to stand outside for hours. I made sure to keep my medal on me while running, that way it would seem more official  to me. 933 people ran the race with me too.

I was also happy that the race started at 11am because it was " warmer" than at 8am.

And still under 28 mins.
