When the Torrential Downpour is over

I'm always thankful when it does snow but Thursday the rain came down hard and would not let up. Today, there was a clean freshness in the air( post rain). The sky was blue and the temperature was in the low 40s. I had to make it a beach am Friday run.

I ran to Constitutional Beach today. It was a day to see the sun comingup and gaze at the planes on the runway getting ready to take off.  In the middle of all of this is the gentle sounds of the water.

I wanted to be around a peaceful setting before my day of 6 hours meeting started in two different cities in the state.  The torrential downpour may be over but my torrential morning post am run is about to began.
