11 miler Palm Sunday

11 miler Palm Sunday

Resting ones body does wonder.  LOL. Saturday, I didn't run. I planned on doing a long run but Friday's wine, shots, 7 hours of meetings, and being on my period made me rethink Saturday's 10 mile run. Instead I was up and went to the American Association of Geographers Convention. Man, I'm a fan. They are like sociologist but havebetter maps.

Away, Saturday was an early andrestful evening. Today, Palm Sunday I didn't have to rush because Church started at 10am instead of 9am. I got myself ready andhit the pavement at 6am. No headlight needed. 41 degrees added to the am fun.

My pace was a bit slower but I wasn't tired and I was just in my running lane. I did stop to take pictures of a church and then of this rocking chair that overlooked the water but I kept on going.

I planned on running 10 miles but to my surprise I did 11 miles in 1:45mins. I know I can cut that time down, I was glad I felt good and I know I could have kept going.

This was a good way to start Holy Week
