8 miles of me

It's surprisingly warm for 27 degrees out. The roads are slick and we are expecting more snow and ice later on this morning. For now at 5:45am its dark, warm, and there is lots of salt on the the pavement from the snow trucks. I'm all set for an 8 mile run.

I had the road all to myself. So quiet and still. I find in moments like this I have a really good pace and strive. I'm sure I could have done 10 miles but I wanted to save myself. :0). This is also when I have time to truly think and be with myself, mom, and the world around me.
