Look left and up because running is historic

Sunday a.m. run was quick( 5k..27 minutes quick) because I was running late for church.  Normally when I run I look forward and might glance left or right. Rarely do I look up or take a hard right or left look around me. I'm getting better at it but I'm not there yet.

This morning I took a hard look left as I turned and saw the history of immigrates into my neighborhood. Canada andScandinavia took for a surprise. It was good to have a moment because we are all immigrates from some other place.

Being the urban sociologist I thought about the current neighborhood racial and ethnic demographics and they don't look anything like the first wave. In reality many neighborhoods do not. There are so many reasons for this.

...I could go on but I won't. Running can be historic :)
