Day after Debate #1: Recovery Run
Yesterday was the first debate of the presidential candidates. And I woke up still disgusted this morning. I don't even know where to start with all the craziness of hate, misogyny, and ignorance, and racism for last nights debate. If I didn't have to teach this morning I would have turned the debates into a drinking game every time Trump lied but I might be dead and the Surgeon General warned against such things. :)
I had torun it off this morning. Of course it was raining this morning. I do not run in the rain unless I'm racing and I don't have a choice but to continue to run. I said screw it! I had to run even in the rain and in the dark.
I ran. The moreI ran, the harder the rain came down. At least it was warm and muggy out so it wasn't cold rain. I knew enough to not run long. If I could I would have ran 10 miles. I'm not trying to get sick.
4 miles was the magic number to let off my disgust. Was it enough..no. It was a release, therapeutic. I'm sure with less than 45 daysuntil the election, I'll be doing a lot more running and more drinking
