2024: 7th Annual Bra Run

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

It’s time for the Bra Run! I had to figure out what bra I was going to wear. Which is something that I never do. KB and I are doing the warm up. Plus we told Adia, who got us free bras from a company that she is an ambassador for that we would wear them. Well the bra sucks. Lovely color they don’t do much for my girls. I was testing out bras. I will admit, I wanted to see what would show less of my belly roles. Then I reached a point and said F-it. No one cares. I’m letting everything hang out.

From the last Bra Run I’ve gotten a bit bigger. I’m still healthy and strong. Just a wider soon. I wore was was comfortable for me.

Over 800 folks registered for this event. We had 30 BGR Boston representation going on. I love the crowd, the vibe, and the badass women of Trailblazhers. Seeing all the diversity of women, this is my running community. Time and time again we have been in similar spaces and similar mind thinks. Love it.

This year the event was at Arts for Humanity building. This is an amazing space and organization that I knew nothing about. I so appreciate Trailblazhers and all that they do. They had Puma, Marathon sports, massage tables, photo booths, food, drinks, a dj. Damn, it was fire.

Then KB and I got them going with the warm up before the run. Ohhh honey child it was hot. We didn’t start running until 11ish in 80 something degrees.

It was a ladies in bras take over in the streets of Boston. I know all the tourist kept looking at us in amazement.

I was on a high.
