BRA RUN 2023

COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”

Today was the 6th annual Bra Run!!! IT was epic, fabulous, and such a vibe!!! Beyond a damn good time. Our sista girls Trailblazher out did themselves this year for the Bra Run. The weather was rainy, humid, and massive downpours but that did not stop the fun or us coming together.

Over 300 women showed up to run 3 miles through the streets of Boston with our Bras on. The looks from tourist and their pulling out their cameras was priceless.

There were familiar faces but a lot of new folks . BGR-Boston, came correct. Somehow my co-ambassador and I were in charge of the warm up. While we waited in line, K and I came up with a routine. I think we practiced it 3 or 4 times before it was show time.

Of course , there were many ad-live moments. Shout out to the massive bike support , that kept the cars out of our way and kept us safe as we ran.

The pacers rocked. It was a great minder to stay behind the pacers. It wasn’t a race but a fun run. The problem I had with this, which I adjusted was running in front of the pacers. I was just running my natural pace stride. I slowed it down.

At the half way marker, we had a dance party. This community of amazing women who run was great. It was such a great day, a great running day.
