Thursday morning around th Pond
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Today was the first day that I was going to run post, knee situation. It might have been a pitch nerve or pitch muscle? Not sure if that is a thing. After resting, acupuncture, and strength training, I thought I would give it a try. I ran around Horn Pond this morning to test out where I am on this process. To be honest, my knee didn’t feel bad. It wasn’t as strong as it could be. I did stretch this morning before running. I just took my time to see how my knee and body felt.
I know I need to do more stretching. But overall it wasn’t bad. I could have kept on running past the 2.37 miles. I know not to push it. I’ll rest the weekend and give it a go on Monday.
My garmin said I ran 2.37 miles at 23:21 time and 9:51min pace. Granted I had to stop several times and take pictures of the Stalkers and their chics. But overall I felt good. To be continued……………………..
