COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

Normally this would be a 10k a.m. hump day run. But I’m not home and I’m exploring new territory. Plus it feels like fall. Yesterday the rain was coming down hard core. Today, it’s warm, foggy, misty, and a bit muggy. Yes, all of these things. We are staying at the Sea Crest Beach Resort, a mini getaway. I’m still in marathon training. I think I am suppose to do 6 or 7 miles today. That is not going to happen.

I want to check out the area around our hotel to get a sense of how far I can run. Early this morning, it was jut me out running. I did see a couple of people walking their dogs but I had the sidewalk to myself. I kept running until the sidewalk ended, which was about 1.60 miles from the hotel.

I also see a bikepath below the bridge I crossed. Note to self , tomorrow find this bike path.

When the sidewalk ended I turned around. I was close to 4 miles. I added a run along the water for a strong four.
