2 miles for Thursday
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Today I have a doctor’s appointment. I wanted to run over in the Fenway area near my doctor’s office. That meant bringing a change of clothes since I wouldn’t be able to go home and shower. I wanted this to be a 10k run. It made sense for me to sleep later and run a couple miles around my neighborhood before getting dress and going to see the doctor. My appointment is early in the morning, which cuts into my morning run. I had to think about traffic and finding parking, the whole thing.
I ran two miles under the Tobin bridge and through Mary O’ Mallory Park, which is always lovely. I hadn’t been there in a while. I saw some walkers and a couple of runners. I made a loop around the park. This morning was a blessing. It was cool and a bit drizzly. We need the rain. Perfect running weather.
