Black Men Run/ Black Girls Run- Brother Sista Run
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
Every second Saturday of the month is the brother/sister run with BMR and BGR. This is our way of connecting with each other. Representation matters. To see a sea of black and brown faces running and supporting each other while running is amazing. We start off at the Ashmont/Peabody clock by the Ashmont T station in Dorchester. The ladies and gentlemen walk, drive, take the T, and/or Uber to get here. Talk about dedication and commitment. We do warm up stretches together before gathering to share our intentions for being in this space and then we run or walk. No brother or sister is left behind.
Today there was 1 mile, 5k, and 5 mile options to run.
I love us
