International Women's Day

COVID-19, “The Rona Era”

March is Women’s History Month. Today is International Women’s Day. Today’s themed run is about women. One that is international is Mary, the Madonna. I made my way to the Madonna Shrine. To get to the Shrine my assets walked upped a step hill. I witness the sun coming up as I started my walk. This is how Monday was starting. I tried to stay focus and thought about the power of women, especially the woman that I know who have made a difference in my life.

Unfortunately, my walk was partially interrupted because as chapter president of our union, I had to do somethings to get ready the furloughs we will have to participate in this week. This was a communication that I had to send out first thing this morning. I didn’t complete my 5k miles. Looking back , I should not have sacrificed my miles and walking time. 2.46 miles is what I completed. The message could have waited. Ugh.
