Last Monday of February...and it's on the twos
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
I can’t believe this is the last Monday of February. What the heck happened? Time has gone by slowly yet fast. Later this afternoon we are suppose to get more slippery we snow. Yet, it’s going to be in the 50s on Wednesday. Wednesday is not my issue now, Monday is. I still can’t run yet, post surgery. Walking will be my form of movement and exercise for a while. I forgot, I walked before I ran, so I’ll be alright. :).
Today is 2.22.21. To make it fun, I walked 2.22 miles in my neighborhood. 6:45 a.m. I was out the door. So were many other people. School vacation week is over, so I saw school buses and children going to school. Many people walking to the T, and the construction workers working on all the new luxury $400,000 and over condos that are building. Gentrification 101. grrr.
Across the street of a church, I walked passed a fountain surrounded by candles and a guitar. It was very beautiful with the snow backdrop. I wonder if this has anything to do with Lent? As I walked in my neighborhood, there are many things I saw, that I know has a story behind it. I could only make up the story in my head. But I am curious.
This was another quick, good brisk walk for the last Monday in February.
