Last run of 2021.
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
41 degrees and foggy for the last day of 2021. I have to continue my tradition of the “ last a.m. run.” I ran through the city. It was hauntingly beautiful with the fog, Christmas lights, water, and hearing the stalkers. I started in the seaport and run by the greenway, aquarium, Fanuiel hall, city hall, downtown crossing, Boston Commons and the public gardens. Running at 5:55a.m. was magical. The glow of the lights, the quiet of the morning and the fog with the back drop behind the urban buildings.
I just ran and kept absorbing the urban lit spaces. I didn’t have a mile stop point. I was sucked into continuing running because of the lights. 7.49 miles later, I ended running for 2021.
