Friday is lit.
COVID-19, ‘The Rona Era”
Friday, the second day of classes and the end of the first week of classes. I already need a break. :). I wanted to get a run in before teaching my class. This semester my Friday class starts at noon. I have the morning time to run, write, and work. It’s 38 degrees this morning and I wanted to run downtown. I’m not sure if I will have the flexibility to explore and run on Friday mornings. This morning, the weather is mild, for a winter a.m. run. Have to take advantage.
6 a.m. it is still dark out. We are inching towards spring because sunrise is at 7:07 a.m. I didn’t realize the lights along the Boston Commons would still be up. There is still a holiday vibe going on. I saw wreaths on my run an holiday lights. Now getting lit on a Friday is taking on a different meaning. I was lit for a Friday a.m run. :).
I ran by the ducklings and I thought they would have Bernie’s mittens on them, they did not. I hope they will show up soon. I ran by signs that still let people know that Black Lives Matter because they will never go away. Black Lives Always Matter.
I planned for 5 miles..4.35 miles happened. - Lit up Friday
