Slow and Steady Thursday
COVID-19 “The Rona Era”
Fall has so left and summer is still hanging around. This morning I could feel the mugginess. I knew I should just run slow and steady because the amount of sweat that was coming off of me from light running was crazy.
I didn’t see my stalkers this morning, which made me a little sad. I was sweating off all the tired and craziness of yesterday’s first day of synchronous online classes.
I was thinking and sweating during my slow and steady pace run. The 4.39 miles I ran hopefully will help me run 10 miles on Monday, when I run with my BGR sole sista along her 26.2 mile Boston Marathon route.
There were signs along the way to encourage me to keep going such as “Justice” and “ Little Librarian and food bank. It takes a community and collective action for change, hence me running with my sole sista for encouragement and togetherness.
For the most part I had a good pace and the tunes were keeping me going.
This is how we start the day
