Almost 5 miles
51 days until State #47. I need to up the miles, endurance, and stamina. Today the plan was to run 5 miles. My motivation would be a beach run. Specifically Nahant Beach. The plan was to run on the beach and then go to campus to see my mentor and let him know about the craziness on our campus plus to see his face.
Today was a great 48 degree beach run. Since daylight savings is coming next week, I was about to see the sunrise while it was still bright out. I started running on the boardwalk path of the beach. Feeling good. Two miles went fast. I should have run further but I didn’t before I turned around. I hit three miles, it was good. Hitting four I slowed down a bit, walked, then I kept going. All was good.
I finished doing 4.86 miles around a 10:30 pace. This is slow for me. I have to remind my self that I am able to run. Working on the stamina and endurance will come. I ran 4.86 miles in 57:03 minutes.
Ugh. When I reached my car, it was 4.86 miles, I didn’t plan that right. I wasn’t going to run back in forth, back in forth to reach 5 miles. That’s annoying. As I’m thinking the Super Sunday Run I ran 3 miles in 41. 45 minutes and I was pain. 4.86 I wasn’t in pain.
