Naughty 6.32 10k a.m. humpday
COVID-19, “ The Rona Era”
Today is the first official 10k a.m. hump day of Winter 2020. For the next couple of days, we are expected to have 50 degree weather. I would be foolish if I didn’t take advantage of this weather and this time. Final grades were submitted on Monday, union activities have come to a pause, and now is the time to rest and recharge for a bit. I don’t have to rush and worry about getting ready for classes, at least for a while.
All that to say, I wanted to run to this morning. The 35 degree weather was just right. Today I ran along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Seaport area, North End, and Charlestown. All in 6.32 miles. This is just another reminder of the smallness of Boston.
I literally owned the greenway this morning because no one was out at 5:50 a.m. This was my time to enjoy Christmas and the holiday season. In the early morning the festive lights seem to shine extra bright. As it got later in the morning , more people started to make their appearance as they went to work.
