Election Day: Track Tuesday edition.
COVID-19, “The Rona Era”
It is a cold and dark a.m. track Tuesday workout and it’s election day. This year , is epic, historical, contentious, and so much more. Our democracy is at stake today. Running in the quiet and dark will be good for my mental health today.
Usually I put in 4 miles. Today I wanted to run some extra miles before running on the track. I passed an awesome sign that gave props to Wu-Tang. This was the first smile of the morning. The next smile while running was the view of the city with the moon still shinning bright in the sky. The final happy was owning the track to myself today. There was no one on it. By the time 6 a.m. comes it gets lighter.
I wanted want to stay out running too late since the polls open up at 7 a.m. and I wanted to get their early. I felt good running 5.53 miles this morning. 0:59:51, 10:49min/mil.
