First run of October
COVID-19 - “The Rona Era”
October is here, the 10th month. I didn’t complete my goal of running 9 miles. Now I did run 10 miles last month as a pacer for my girl Katonya who ran the Boston Marathon, so I did over 9. But just to run 9 miles, alone I did not do it. As I look at the month of September I ran two 10ks( my largest miles) but everything else has been under that. So, October will be going beyond a 10k for miles and running10 miles.
With all of that, my first run of the month was 4.11 miles at a 10:23 min/mile in 46:03. Today I ran from darkness to light, saw my stalkers, anti-Black Lives Matter written on the side walk, and saw more the turning of the leaves because fall is here. This was good weather to run in as I ran along the Mystic River Reservation. To my surprise people were out walking and running and fishing.
Today I ran a loop inside of out in back. I ran through Somerville, Medford, and back to Somerville. I know now, I should do the loop on a regular.
Starting off the first of the month by cross over the river to get to the other side. :)
