Last a.m. of September 2019
How is this the last day of the month. I don’t know what happened to September. A week ago I did a tedx talk and I’m still in recovery from that. After Sunday( Sept. 22) , my left leg started to hurt and I’m having trouble walking and bending it. I wonder if it’s from my leg shaking ( while in heels). Who knows? I have state #46 at the end of October and I h ave to be ready and well.
This weekend, I made sure to rest and not run. I iced and rested my leg. Today, I wanted to run on the last day of the month and my leg felt better than it did over the weekend. I’m not 100%. I need to be mindful and be restful and careful. Today I ran 3.27 miles in the morning and it felt like a nice fall morning. The leaves have fallen and people had on jackets as they walked to work or the bus stop.
Besides my knee issues, I felt good and had a good stride for a 5k. The question is whether I can do it for 13.1 miles( hopefully with a well healed knee)
