4 miles of Love

Today is my mom’s birthday. She would have been 72 years young today. For the last four years I’ve always run a half marathon on her birthday or on her birthday weekend. Since this chapter of the journey is about to end, I couldn’t find any races to run. All the races were in states that I have already run in. The closest half marathon and state will be next weekend in Nebraska. That will be her birthday month celebration run. Until next weekend, I had to run, even a daily run on her birthday.
