Last Saturday
Before meeting the #girlgang, I ran a mile to get myself ready for speed drills for the road to wellness running clinic. Today I learned about shifting gears while running. Changing your running speeds actually makes for a better and stronger runner. We ran ( lead pack) 2.50 miles in 22 minutes. Today it was muggy and humid and we ran on inclines and uphills. It was a good workout.
I was still tired from last night and not sleeping well. Sleep does make a difference. I made note of my performance. It was great to have so many ladies come out today. Bonus, we meet our youth ambassadors today and they were awesome. Things are shaping up because next month we'll start running at the Dimock center and on the racing route.
