4.44...and then cake

Birthday Run, Birthday Run, Birthday Run.

Today I turned 44 and to celebrate my birth, I ran 4.44 miles in D.C. with 4 of my Black Girls Run Boston crew!! I was so excited and just overwhelmed with love that they got up for my early a.m. run. To add to their love and support, they all ran 8 miles the day before for the National Women's half marathon and 8 mile race.  Talk about rock stars!!!

Along our run we ran into some aggressive bikers. It was a Monday morning and they were going to work but, damn. lol.

Later on after the run, this new 44 year old had birthday cake and then flew back to Boston.
