10k Super Moon

10k Super Moon

This morning was the morning of the blue moon/ super moon. The east coast won't get the views that the west coast will this morning. I was hoping to see a gorgeous moon on my 10k( 6.44) run for the last day of the month and I did and she did not disappoint.

Despite the 19 degree weather and a frozen face, the sky was clear and the moon was so bright  and big. I felt as if she was following me while I run because she was so close to me.  But, this is when I hate light pollution because some of it got in the way of her glow. She still shined.

Not sure if it was the power of the moon but I could have kept on running. Stride and pace felt great and every time I looked up there she was.

As I ran I reflected on this month and the vision, courage, and freedom it will take to get many of my task accomplished before the end of the year.

...here's to running with the moon
