Yes Black Girls Rock Climb too
Saturday not only did I run over 8 miles but we( the other BGR ambassador ) .had organized a rock climbing social and get together. In typical Tiffany fashion I get there an hour before to let the front desk know we were coming. Plus I had to do my waiver and I wanted to pre check out the place.
We had close to twenty ladies of all ages and abilities show up to do this. Expect for a couple ladies it was everybody's first time.
Rock Climbing is no joke. It's great for getting your core, back, and legs muscles together. The hardest thing was overcoming the fear of falling and trusting the process.
After the first go around, then the rest was good. I looked forward to falling and felt comfortable with it. We had to learn to be uncomfortable and trust the people around us.
My BGR girl gang is super supportive of each other. We are a community and we kept encouraging others to get out of their comfortable zone to not just survive but thrive. And they did.
Saturday was ladies night and be pretty much took that shitz over. It wasn't rock climbing itself but the company I was in, that made a world of difference
