Two states, a bridge, and the Ohio River
Sunday am run in Louisville, Kentucky. This was my last am run in the city before we left. I only time I ran across the Ohio River was in 2015 for the Flying Pig Marathon. This was no marathon involved this time. :). Further down stream, the Ohio is a lot wider and looks different than my Cincinnati part of the river.
This am I wanted to cross theClark Memorial bridge and see what was on the other side. What was on the other side was New Albany, Indiana. Crossing over there was a big sign that said " Southern Indiana the sunnyside of Louisville". Cute.
Crossing over, I took joy in seeing the sun raise over the Ohio but also I was nervous. On the Indiana side there were extremely loud trucks and engines, american flags, and Trump stickers. VP Pence is an Indiana Boy.
Which is better to be in Indiana or Kentucky? I guess I would have stayed on the river until I knew I was in Ohio or at least Pennsylvania.
