Smiles for Monday

This weather is too much! Monday 5 mile am run feels like a crisp fall am morning. It's breezy, cloudy, and light rain. So confused. Ha! As I am running this morning, another runner had passed by me. It was an older man who was running at a good pace, faster than mine hands down. I decided to chase him. As I like to call it, "tag him". That was a first time in an extremely long time that I had tagged someone on my am run.

Sometimes I'll see runners and they are going in the opposite direction. This guy was going in my same direction. I was motivated to run a bit faster and harder to catch up with him. That lasted for half a mile.
